The Corporate Building for Tudawe Brothers is located off Elvitigala Mawatha at the Narahenpita junction, positioned for visibility while maintaining a controlled urban presence. The design is guided by efficiency, buildability, and long-term performance. A restrained façade with minimal openings reduces heat gain, while projected balconies provide shading and depth to the elevation. Energy efficiency is further supported through the integration of solar farms and a prefabricated façade system, enabling faster construction and improved quality control. The structural system combines reinforced concrete and steel elements, with long-span post-tensioned beams allowing flexible, column-free interior spaces suited for any type of use. The overall architectural language is clean and modern, with a focus on functionalism. Materials, proportions, and detailing are kept simple and purposeful, reflecting a design approach that prioritizes clarity, efficiency, and practical performance in both construction and operation.
